It is no lie that the Detroit Lions solidly beat the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday. With a score of 35-13, Detroit Lions fans have a lot of hype, and that is expected.

Even though David Johnson was out for the second half, the Lions beat the Arizona Cardinals.

I’m sorry to say this but, the Detroit Lions had a mediocre game at best and scored 57 percent of their points after David Johnson left the game. Not to mention that they had 10 penalties called for a total of 100 yards. As a result, the Lions gave the Cardinals 5 first downs. These immature mistakes are the reason the lions did not steamroll over the Cardinals. Not to be super picky with the Lions but what is with two for five on extra points. Those are little mistakes that later in the season could end up losing them a game. Overall it is still week one and with the Lions schedule coming up including teams like the Steelers, Packers, Giants, Panthers, and Falcons. I think it will be a tough year for Lions fans.

To sum it all up I believe the Lions will go 7-9. Ultimately missing the playoffs and having once again a mediocre draft pick. I think to improve the Lions need to buckle down and get some good players at the draft and need to make some bold moves in the offseason.
